On October 16, 2018, Cadence Design Systems, Inc announced that, through a wide-reaching system design enablement collaboration, the Cadence Verification Suite is ready for use on Arm®-based high-performance computing (HPC) server environments. Now, all of the Cadence verification software tools you know and love—including Xcelium Simulator—can be run on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Apollo 70 system, which uses a processor based on the Armv8-A architecture. There’s a significant cost-saving associated with this—nineteen percent—which will help enable a new world of flexibility, user license allocation, unlicensed task execution, and time-saving.
If you’re using an Arm server, you now have access to not just Xcelium, but the whole of the Cadence Verification Suite’s prowess—that includes the JasperGold Formal Verification Platform, the vManager Metric-Driven Signoff Platform, the Indago Debug Platform, and the Verification IP catalog.
